Knowly ("the App", "we", "us", or "our") values your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we process information generated when you use the App.
1. Information We Process
1. Device Identifier
On first launch, the App creates a random Device ID. It is used to identify membership benefits, activation status, usage quotas, device transfers, and referral relationships. This identifier does not directly contain your name, phone number, or hardware serial number.
2. Usage and Diagnostic Information
To understand how the App is operating, we collect app launch or daily active events, app version, operating system type and version, event time, and the IP address obtained by our server from the request context.
3. Membership and Transaction Information
When you purchase or use membership services, we process the Device ID, order number, membership type, order amount, payment status, membership expiration date, quota information, and referral code or referral relationship. Payments are processed by the applicable payment provider. We do not directly collect or store your bank card details or payment account passwords.
4. Information You Provide or Process Locally
Files you import, conversation content, app settings, and third-party service keys you configure are generally stored locally on your device. When you choose to use online AI, embeddings, OCR, speech recognition, remote control, or other third-party features, the relevant content, authorization information, or necessary instructions may be sent to the third-party service you select or authorize in order to provide that feature. Please review the privacy policy of that third party before use.
2. How We Use Information
- To provide, maintain, and improve the App and membership services;
- To verify membership benefits, manage quotas, and process orders;
- To understand app versions, system compatibility, and basic usage;
- To troubleshoot issues, prevent abuse, and protect service security; and
- To provide third-party online features that you actively enable.
We do not sell personal information or use it for advertising targeting unrelated to the App.
3. Storage and Sharing
Local data is stored on your device. Membership, order, quota, and basic analytics data are stored in Alibaba Cloud EMAS Serverless cloud services to provide the relevant features and perform basic operational analytics.
We do not share your personal information with other organizations or individuals except:
- with cloud, payment, or third-party services necessary to provide the service or actively enabled by you;
- where required by applicable laws, regulations, or valid requests from administrative or judicial authorities; or
- with your separate consent or authorization.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. However, no internet transmission or electronic storage method is completely secure.
4. Your Choices and Rights
You may delete local files, conversation history, and app configuration, stop using or uninstall the App, request access to, correction of, or deletion of cloud-based membership and analytics information, or withdraw authorization for third-party online features and stop using them.

Please note that deleting or changing the local Device ID may affect membership benefits, device transfer, quotas, and order association.
5. Children
The App is not directed to children under 14 years of age. If we discover that we have processed a child's personal information without the consent of a parent or guardian, we will delete it or take other necessary measures as required by law.
6. Updates to This Policy
We may update this Policy when our data practices or services change. The updated Policy will be made available on this page or through an appropriate in-app notice. Where required by law, we will obtain your consent before a change takes effect.
